On my mobile I have an app called xender, which I used to transfer a photo to my friends phone. I deleted the photo around the same time that I had sent it which was in February 2016. The xender app shows that I have sent the photo but I cannot click on it to see it. Is there a way I can recover the photo or is it unrecoverable because I have taken countless other photos since that time.

Laptop Recover Data

Laptop will not turn on and displays error message in regards to system not being able to boot. I have had the hard drive taken out and would like to have important documents and certain system files recovered. It should not take up no more then 2-3GB of space and I can provide my own storage. Hard drive removed from laptop (not working) and connected to hard drive reader without success. The hard drive does not power up at all. I wondered whether it is still possible to recover data from the hard drive in this state? Laptop only 5 years old.

My iphone 5 crashed on Christmas day. This morning when working on the computer (Mac), I suddenly lost all partitions on an external hard drive (RAID system, LaCie d2 8TB, Thunderbolt). Some of them re-mounted after a while, but access to the data is extremely slow. Trying to rebuilt directories (using DiskWarrior) of the three unavailable partitions takes for ever and shows a message "Speed reduced by disk malfunction".

I think my daughter removed the drive without safely ejecting it. Now when it is plugged in it just requests to be formatted. It is now not recognisable on my MacBook Pro either. I use it to back up my main HP Windows PC but I have before been able to access files when plugging it into my MacBook. The hard drive is an Hitachi 1TB XL1000. Wd My passport Ultra 1TB, hello I've been backing things up from our iMac and the lights are on, the disc is making a noise but its not recognised on my iMac, it is recognised in disk utility, I've tried disc utility and it says unrepairable, one minute then the partition map appears to be okay, can you help ?

My iPhone 5S is stuck in recovery mode. It was water damaged (I jumped in a canal to save a dog!) so I stuck in rice to try and save it. This worked but the home button is no longer functional. And since the iOS update you cannot swipe to enter your passcode. Therefore I turned it off as this forces a pin entry. However when I turned back on it was in recovery mode and has been since. I am not concerned about saving the phone itself, I had actually purchased a new one prior to the canal incident, but I do really want to rescue the photos which irritatingly don't appear in my iCloud photo library. In the last 24 hours the iPhone will charge off my Mac but is no longer recognised as a device.

Here are a number of enquiries I've recently dealt with from people with either broken hard drives or unresponsive phones who never took at backup (tut tut) and now need their data extracting from their broken device. When plugged in after it Initially mounted but then stopped (linux os). Now doesn't show in linux, Windows finds the drive but cannot access files. Mechanical sounds, drive sounds like it spins up when powered but then goes to a constant mechanical clicking sound.

I've been told by a mobile repair company that my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is water damaged and beyond repair. Although I am pretty sure it hasn't been submerged in liquid at any point they say this may be from condensation from the shower. The phones screen is blank and sometimes you can see a faint green line at the top of the screen. It vibrates when you turn it on and the touch buttons light up. There is a security code on the phone so when i attempted to extract the files myself using my laptop I was not able to because of this. I wish to retrieve the photos, videos, contacts and messages from the device.

My passcode is no longer working on my iphone 6 after update, my touch ID was working. I foolishly restarted the phone hoping it would fix itself but then it only accepts passcode after restart.
Please help me recover my photos and videos as they are the most important thing on my phone that I do not want to lose.

I have dropped my laptop (lenovo) and it crashed. It started making a strange noise and now when I try to switch it on it makes the strange noise and doesn't do anything but loading the starting page. I had a similar problem with an old laptop and I have been told it was the hard drive.
